E 46 Mirror Wiring Diagram. After doing lengthy searches here and other boards, I had a hell of a hard time finding this, so thought I'd post it here for future reference. I'm assuming one is constant power, one switched and a ground.

I've run and tucked the long phono cable through (top part of the connection diagram) to the front of the car so just need to connect all other. Anyone have a diagram as to what each wire does for the rearview mirror? I replaced actuors and side mirror switch assembley.

I am guessing it may be the switch, but would like the wiring diagram go to autozone.com. register and enter your car. you can veiw vehicle repair guides with wiring.

Pull the mirror away gently from the screen to gain access to the wiring plug, press the tab on the plug to separate the wiring to allow complete removal of the rear view mirror assembly.
